Roder Sigorta Acenteliği ve Aracılık Hizmetleri Ltd. Şti. was founded on 10th June 2004 with participation of Roder Ro – Ro Gemi İşletmecileri ve Kombine Taşımacılar Derneği and Rodpa Araç Servis Pazarlama ve Ticaret AŞ.
The vision of our company is to serve as an insurance-market corporation meeting the needs of our customers, of our members as a priority but also any customers demanding individual and corporate services in insurance, with a customer-focused approach.
The mission of our company is to meet the needs of the firms engaged in international transport that are members to our association with the principle of a comprehensive guarantee and reasonable premiums and to prepare insurance packs specific to the expectations of the members. Our company also markets and sells all the insurance products.
Our company generated a premium amount of YTL 1.200.000 from 10th June 2004, the date of foundation, until late 2004 and issued 2.268 policies. During the same period, it included 206 customers to its portfolio. Its figures of business performance in year 2005 are, on the other hand, net premium amount of YTL 2.650.000, 4.183 policies and total 400 corporate customers.
Our attempts to open branches in regions, where our members are intensively active and where our association branches are located, are currently underway and the space, in which the association office of our Mersin Branch is located, has been rearranged to serve our members and Roder Sigorta Mersin Office has been founded. Ms. Leyla SERT has been appointed as the Customer Representative of our company in Mersin Branch. Our members were enabled to express their expectations, problems and needs by accessing the association’s phone and fax numbers.
Moreover, the following insurance services, products and opportunities have been offered in parallel with the expectations, tendencies and needs of you, our valuable members, employing the accumulation and experience gained since 2004, the initial year of service.
Combined Car Insurance Policy with Campaign
 Our company intends to meet the needs of you, our valuable members, in terms of car insurances, by the Combines Car Insurance Policy developed in cooperation with GÜNEŞ Sigorta, one of the strong companies of the sector in terms of portfolio that shall not be influenced by the financial fluctuations. Together with the car insurance guarantee, the following guarantees are provided: a financial liability guarantee of YTL 100.000 for any damages to be inflicted upon third parties, guarantee of YTL 5.000 in case of death or disability of the driver of the vehicle, YTL 2.500 in case of accidents for treatment costs, idle capacity guarantee of YTL 3.000 per annum, a guarantee for towing and salvaging the vehicle within certain limits, a legal protection guarantee of YTL 5.000 that may be needed as a result of the legal disputes that may arise as a result of the accident. An opportunity to make your policy payments in 12 equal installments is also offered within the framework of the agreements signed with Güneş Sigorta and Vakıfbank.
Moreover, an alternative service pack is developed by the Combined Car Insurance Policy created in 2006 with ŞEKER Sigorta, one of the established companies of the insurance sector serving the sector for 62 years, in order to meet the needs of you, our valuable customers, in terms of car insurances. Together with the car insurance guarantee, the following guarantees are provided: a financial liability guarantee amounting to YTL 100.000 or 800.000 (such limits being optional) for any damages to be inflicted upon third parties, a guarantee of YTL 10.000 in case of death and disability of the vehicle driver and YTL 2.500 in case of accident for treatment costs, idle capacity guarantee of YTL 6.000 or 9.000 per annum (such limits being optional) and a guarantee for towing and salvaging the vehicles subject to certain limits. An opportunity is provided to make your insurance premium payments as 1/10 net premiums + expenditures tax in advance and the balance in 9 equal installments by the credit cards of any banks.
Green Card Insurance Policy
Green Card Insurance Policy, which provides guarantees against any damages that your vehicles may inflict on third parties abroad with due consideration of the traffic insurance limits and terms of the relevant country, is subject to collection of premiums amounting to € 1.200 (net) + € 60 (banking and insurance transactions tax) = € 1.260 for towing vehicles; € 150 (net) + € 8 (banking and insurance transactions tax) = € 158 Euro for trailers by all the insurance companies. The policies may be issued and delivered in a single business day in parallel with the demand of our members. Reasonable terms of payment are provided for collection of premiums to ease the financing flow of our members.
CMR Insurance Policy
Our members are served with special conditions and premiums by Başak Sigorta AŞ, a leading insurance company of the sector with extensive know-how and experience as well as an extensive customer portfolio in CMR insurances. However, the contract offers are issued with varying conditions and premiums considering the damage/premium information of the candidate customers. Our company also issues alternative CMR Insurance Contract offers in parallel with the needs of our members together with Güneş Sigorta AŞ, with whom we cooperate extensively in all the branches and whose payment performance for damages satisfies our customers.
Travel (Visa) Health Insurance
 The Travel (Visa) Health Insurances needed for the employees of our members during visa transactions are issued with a guarantee limit of € 30.000 with more comprehensive guarantees as compared to products of the competitive companies in the market in order to be valid throughout the world excluding USA and Canada. Our product has been offered to you, our valuable customers, with more reasonable premiums as compared to the competing prices in the market and with the concept of efficient post-sale services by the cooperation of RODER-GÜNEŞ-MEDNET.
